Capitol Reef is a little-known park.  Darrin hadn't even heard of it when Anna discovered it on a Dutch website!  Anna took the photo below near the town of Fruita, where original settlers in the area were able to grow amazing fruit orchards.

Scenery is amazing in Capitol Reef, and it's not crowded at all...

From Capitol Reef, we headed west to Arches National Park, where we were met with the normal July crowds of sightseers.  It was so crowded, in fact, that we had to leave the park to camp along Utah 128 and the Colorado River.  The next morning we drove back into Arches for a little sightseeing...

From there, it was homeward-bound into Colorado, back into Utah, and eventually into Wyoming again, crossing Flaming Gorge dam...
