When those clouds break up, however, we get some really beautiful sunsets in front of our home...


Currently, in 2005, eastern Wyoming is suffering from eight years of drought. Each spring, green color paints the countryside for a shorter duration. The creek slows down and the developed springs stop producing stock water. By early summer, there's still some green on the mountain, but the grasses in the foothills are turning brown...

The landscape then comes alive again in patches, as fall foliage changes color...
